If you are currently in the process of being suspended from Â黨ӰÊÓ but would like to return, we're here to help you navigate the process. Your academic program can help you appeal that decision and potentially stay at Â黨ӰÊÓ by setting up a plan and offering assistance as you work toward success in your academic journey. 

Residence Hall Students: If you are appealing your suspension, you are able to stay in your residence hall until that process is completed. If you have decided not to appeal your suspension, you need to move out of your residence hall room by noon on Jan 17, 2025.  Please email reslife@uwrf.edu for information on moving out. If you are on campus, you may also call your hall’s duty hone number (posted on the outside doors of residence halls) for assistance.  

 If you’d like to appeal your suspension, you have two options. Please read carefully to ensure you meet all steps on time.

1) Expedited Option: The benefit of this expedited option is you could be re-entered before your classes are dropped. Submit this  right away. The deadline to be considered for re-entry without dropping your spring 2025 classes is Jan. 17, 2025. You can indicate on the form if you’d also like to appeal to re-instate your financial aid if you currently receive that.

This process moves quickly! Here's what it looks like:

1. Submit the  by Jan. 17, 2025. Sooner is better! Your spring 2025 courses will be dropped on Jan. 17, 2025 if you haven’t submitted your re-entry application.
2. You’ll receive a meeting invitation in your Navigate App or in your Â黨ӰÊÓ email that will indicate how to set up an appointment with a representative from your college. Set up that appointment as soon as possible! Students that aren't responsive to the meeting invitation will be denied re-entry. We won't drop your classes until your college indicates you aren’t following up on the process or a re-entry denial decision is made.
3. You may be notified of the re-entry decision at your college appointment. It’s also possible you’ll be referred to an additional review meeting prior to a decision.
4. Your re-entry final decision will be sent via email at the completion of the process. Remember to watch your spam/junk folder, as emails can end up there!
5. If you indicate that you’d like to appeal for re-instatement of your financial aid, our Financial Aid Office will be notified. You should get started on that process immediately. Visit the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy webpage to submit the appeal documents.

2) Prior to the Term Option: If you need some time to decide if you want to appeal your suspension, you can submit the  up to the deadline on Jan. 17, 2025. The earlier the better as you’ll have more time to complete next steps! 

1. Submit the  prior to Jan. 17, 2025. Remember, sooner is better!
2. You’ll receive a meeting invitation in your Navigate App or in your Â黨ӰÊÓ email that will indicate how to set up an appointment with a representative from your college. Set up that appointment as soon as possible! Students that aren't responsive to the meeting invitation will be denied re-entry.

You may apply for Academic Forgiveness at the time of your re-entry if you have not been enrolled at ANY institution of higher learning for at least five continuous years prior to readmission. Through the Academic Forgiveness Policy, Â黨ӰÊÓ provides an opportunity for the calculation of a new GPA for all subsequent coursework. Once you have applied for re-entry, you will submit your completed Academic Forgiveness application to the dean of the college for your major.
